So many people dread Sundays because that means tomorrow is Monday. But I've never agreed with that. Sunday, to me, is the best day of the week. As you know I am a HUGE breakfast person. Monday-Friday you're in such a rush to get to the places you need to go, you don't have time to enjoy your mornings and make a yummy breakfast. Saturdays usually consist of either sleeping in until lunch time or waking up early to have some fun adventures! However, SUNDAY is my BREAKFAST DAY. No matter how late you wake up on Sunday, breakfast is good at any time!
Sundays should be full of relaxation and productivity. You have an entire day to divide to doing things you enjoy and doing things that need to get done like studying or cleaning. How could you start such a relaxing day without a yummy breakfast?! You obviously know this begins with a cup of coffee... the one and only. With that in hand, you can make a beautiful breakfast. My favorite Sunday breakfast meal is pancakes. There's so many amazing combinations you can make! I particularly love banana chocolate chip pancakes, but I did something different this time. I made blueberry chocolate chip pancakes and let me tell you, it's hard to choose which is better. However, an essential component to yummy pancakes is chocolate chips. I am quite the chocolate lover.
But besides my love for pancakes, I also have a love for eggs. My boyfriend cooked up some delicious eggs using some garlic salt and pepper, mixing in some all natural apple gate sausages (my favorite flavors are sweet apple and sweet italian style). I love scrambled eggs but omelets are also amazing! Add in some spinach, tomatoes, diced onions, cheese (my favorite is muenster) and you have yourself a gourmet omelet.
Lastly, you can never go wrong with a side of toast. My favorite bread is frozen 7-grain bread. My best friend brought me some of her grandma's homemade blueberry jam and it was the perfect combination. There are other great, easy breakfast sides as well though. Some fresh fruit is amazing, maybe even make a smoothie! Or you can cook up some potatoes! Whatever you like, take a Sunday morning to turn on some relaxing music (I listen to John Mayer, Jack Johnson, or Ed Sheeran) and cook amazing breakfast food with the people you love. Learn to cherish Sundays rather than despise them. Monday is a part of every week and is inevitable, take every day one day at a time. Everything is based on your perspective.
I hope you all enjoyed the post and will begin to love Sundays a little bit more!
Love Always,
