A year ago from today I wish stressing over my UF application. I was doubting myself and all that I had accomplished, thinking I wouldn't be accepted into the University of Florida. Little did I know, in February I would be proved wrong. The feeling was indescribable, however, I really did not know how great it truly is to be a Florida Gator until this past weekend. I went to my first football game. I bet you're probably thinking "It's just a football game what's so special about that?" (or maybe you're not... but I'll still explain myself).
Walking into that stadium, seeing all of the people decked out in UF colors, hearing the orange and blue chant, witnessing the football players run out onto the field, I realized how great it truly is to be a Florida Gator. It officially sank in that I am a part of something so much bigger than I had thought back in February. Sitting on that bleacher is when I truly felt pride in where I am and where I am eventually going through the opportunities that will be provided to me from the University of Florida.
Below are a few pictures of this wonderful time that I got to experience with very special people. I'll end this post with a message I want to give to you all. Each and every one of you is a part of something. Be proud of it and engulf yourself in it, you're there for a reason. Ignore the circumstances and ignore what everyone else says because they aren't the ones in it, you are. Take pride in where you are right now and where you are going to go from there. Enjoy it! I hope you guys enjoy the pictures and thanks for reading!
